pretty quality book is really all a guy can say. I really like how this book isn't about race as much as some of the other books we've read. I mean the whole race thing was getting pretty old ja feel? well now im just typing because i don't really have much else to say. I think my boy Cormack road it because he wanted to illustrate the bond between a father and son.

granitic beast
water dripping and sang
sightless as the eggs of spiders
crouching there pale and naked

 CER
In this poem, the author uses descriptive and scary adjectives to describe the bowels of the cave, causing his readers to be frightful of what is to come next. "granitic beast", "water dripping and sang", and "sightless as the eggs of spiders". The author uses precise adjectives which creates a strong imagery, making the readers feel as though we are in the cave ourselves. I think the author is trying to tell us the fear of being isolated in an area all by yourself. After reading that poem I wouldn't want to be in that cave!

PART 1
The biggest theme that i have been able to pick out of Persepolis is adolescence. She is very immature an many ways and doesn't know how to understand or interpreate things. blah blah blah blah blah blah blah lah blah blah blah. the story kinda goes through her understanding of what is wrong and what is happening with the new regime. ill be honest i haven't finished the book yet im only on chapter 7 so i don't really know what happens. but as i read through those first chapters the biggest thing i noticed was her adolescence. Also that is very comparible to the choice book i read because adolescence was a big part of that book too.

PART 2
so far from what ive read i do like the book because the pictures help me stay intreged in the book. it is also on a topic that ive learned a little bit about in my previous years of school whoch helps me relate to what is going on. it is also intresting knowing what a young adolesent girl thinks is going on when i have a general understanding what is REALLY going on. that spretty much all i got. blah blah bkah bdkfbbcja jdhjcbajdbfjhnjcknslkajdfhjskhc

PART 3
Marji wears a veil due to the religion she believes in even though she doesn't really know how to feel about it.

10/22/14

I would like to have 15 note cards done and find one more source.

It is an exact number.
It is a number and therefore measurable.
You can complete the task.
It can be completed in 30 minutes.
It is a thing.

My Goal for the end of the week is to have 30 note cards complete and 4 sources.
I am about 80% done with my goal.
I need to get some work done next class.

explain why your ideas are important
also talk about what the author was trying to show us or tell us
how are the authors trying to prove the same thing
are the way the two books explain the holocaust the same?

James Harrison, one of the most feared NFL linebackers of all time retired last year at the age of 36, which is very old for an NFL player. Not surprising for many people he signed back on to his former team the Pittsburgh Steelers this Tuesday. One of the big reasons he quit in the first place was the constant fines he was getting thrown in his face by Rodger Godell. Last year he had a total of 5 fines while playing on the Cincinnati Bengals. When he signed to the Bengals last year many people were shocked that he would leave his faithful Steelers team that he played on for 9 years. He told media that he signed to the Bengals for money reasons which is a common tendency in the modern NFL, wherever the money is that's where the players are. But back to the point at hand, he tweeted an instagram picture today of him signing a contract to get back on the Steelers which many steelers fans are thrilled about. 4 of the 5 fines he was given last year were all helmet to helmet contact penalties, which was a new rule installed a few years ago to try to limit concussions. He argued that "football is football and when you play the sport you are taking the risk of getting a concussion" which is a fair arguement.

I would define beauty as something that everyone has in there own unique way. Our society decides that something is beautiful based off physical looks. Yes because everyone is beautiful in there own way. Some people thing they are ugly and cant look past there physical appearance. I would say a negative thing because more people are "ugly" than "beautiful". Beauty is a HUGE part of our society and should be a big part of our society but in a way other than physical appearance.
